2009 Abraham Lincoln Coin and Chronicles Set in Original Government Packaging (OGP)
Included in this set is a 2009 Abraham Lincoln Commemorative Proof Silver Dollar, produced to commemorate the 200th anniversary of the birth of Abraham Lincoln. Also included in this set are four different one-cent coins in recognition of the bicentennial of President Abraham Lincoln's birth. Lincoln's image appears on the obverse of each one-cent coin. The reverses reflect four different designs, each one represnting a different aspect, or theme, of the life of President Lincoln: Birth in Kentucky (1809-1816), Formative Years in Indiana (1816-1830), Professional Life in Illinois (1830-1861) and Presidency in Washington, D.C. (1861-1865). Minted at the United States Mint at San Francisco, each Lincoln one-cent coin has a composition of 95% copper, its original metal content when first introduced in 1909.
